Angie N5MVV presented the Treasurer’s Report, with an end of month balance of $2,983.50. She reported that the Liability Insurance payment had been made.

Old Business:
It was reported that the batteries purchased for 146.82 had not yet been installed.

It was reported that the 146.92 repeater was working, but was on stand alone status and not linked into the system.

The trailer belonging to BBARC had been moved into Alpine from Barb KM5VM residence, was being stored at the True Value yard, and had been advertised for sale on Face Book.

New Business:
Jim KD5KBU reported that CycleFest was scheduled for September 17-18. This is a round the scenic loop event scheduled for Saturday, with a hill climb from Fort Davis to McDonald’s observatory on Sunday. Volunteers are needed with the most help needed on Saturday.

Rusty requested help on an antenna project on Saurday August 13th.

Allen N5NYM discussed the possibility of adding ECOLINK to the BBARC System. Equipment needed could be installed at True Value. It would require a 440 node, with radio and 12 volt power supply. Individual operators could connect using an app on an I-Phone or by computer. While the project is in the planning stage, Allen will give an update at the September meeting.

The meeting adjourned at 8:00 PM.
